This time around let us analyze some basic layout shapes in aquascaping. Everyone can see what type of layout his or her own tank belongs to, and also can come up with new shapes and combinations.

In actuality every style can be made to look unique and stunning. It all depends on whether we are capable of properly utilizing forms and colors. Every layout can become a masterpiece. Of course just the case as in the fashion world, styles change year after year. For instance, in this year’s ADA there were many layouts with the concave shape that use white sand. The years 2002 and 2003 saw more triangular layout. Then in the not-so distant past, Dutch Wall was the hit.

So all the talk about layouts is only to let everyone realize just how much variety there exists. In this way, maybe one could even be motivated to come up with one’s own design?
By having a goal in the layout design, one would be less inclined to make any mistakes.

Different shapes create different styles.

A surrounding wall or boundary is necessary in the garden style layout. Coupled with other styles and a great aquascape can be achieved.

沒想到造景的學問如此大 我如果光憑感覺要造出好景 真的很困難
